The Robins Ranch sits nestled in the North Idaho mountains, overlooking the St. Maries river and surrounded by state land forests.

This is home to our Boer Show and Breeding goats.

 

In 2001, a dear friend asked if I would like to see her new goats.  That was when I was introduced to the Boer Goat. 

I had seen goats at the fairs and I recall them being small and frail.  I was amazed to see such animals, that my friend, Betty had acquired!  After raising show horses, cattle and show dogs for 30 + years, I was very interested in these magnificent goats.

Their size, daily weight gain and hardiness lead me to a dedicated journey into the world of Boer Goats.

I have shown my animals for 36 years, with the values of keeping each animal within it's standards,  a healthy, and capable animal to be able to not only be appealing to the eye, but to easily perform all tasks within it's original purpose.

This lead me to a very careful search of acquiring our foundation stock. 

We Thank all of the great Boer breeders that have given us this opportunity to start out with such a magnificent herd.
